The Air Jordan 13 (XIII) Original (OG) Low–Chutneys (Black / Chutney) were released in 1998, and retailed for $130. They feature a black / chutney colorway constructed from leather and durabuck. The outsole matches the gold color scheme on the upper, along with the gold Jumpman logos, which are really nice touches. The Air Jordan 13 (XIII) is modeled after the paw of a black panther, with the midsole area representing the paw, and the hologram usually seen on the mid versions said to be the eye, which is missing here, as these are low top versions. Although it lacks the green hologram, the shoe still features a hidden quick lace system, carbon fibre sheath, and Zoom Air insoles. The outsole features a modified herringbone pattern which provides great traction, making these ideal for basketball.
